Santana Tickets Vegas Hard Rock Hotel

See Carlos Santana as well as his band perform in the world renowned Hard Rock Hotel in Vegas starting February 3rd, 2010

The great grammy winning guitarist Carlos Santana and his band of the same name are performing a series of concerts during February at the celebrated rock and roll club known as "The Joint" in the Hard Rock Hotel casino complex in Las Vegas . The show dates are February 3,5,6,10,12,13,14,17,19,20, & 21.

The original Joint rock and roll club has been an important music venue for years and years where lots of the major performers and artists have performed, with possibly the most renowned being The Rolling Stones. The old joint has now been replaced by the much bigger modern Joint which opened up in April 2009. It seats about 4000 with a VIP area.

I have seen some people who have been there grumble about the poor sound quality and also the failure to see the entertainers very well if you have seats near the back. Considering the fact that Santana has established himself as one of the best musicians in the world as well as his band is enjoying a renaissance nowadays with their new recordings you better snatch some tickets as quickly as you can. Most tickets range in price from around $80 to $300 but they won't last long.

Santana and his group have been around in different forms for several decades and have absolutely enjoyed a surge in popularity since the late 1990's. Rolling Stone magazine named Carlos Santana as the planet's 15th greatest guitarist out of their list of the top 100 in 2003.

Born in 1947 to a dad who performed as a violinist in a Mexican mariachi band Santana has always been around music and has by no means lost his fire and love of it since he started to get popular in the 1960's. His guitar as well as the Santana brand of latin inspired music have always been connected together and unlike other bands of that period hasn't changed much.

Santana's career really took off when the record companies seen them perform during Woodstock in 1969. The latin sound coupled with some blues along with jazz has been a winning formula for them ever since. Some of their most famous songs have been "Black Magic Woman", "Oye Como Va", and "Evil Ways".

If you want to get up close to Carlos and his music the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas is the spot to be ... buy your concert tickets now.
